Is your web site banned by Google? A few tips for you.

Sometimes many website owners discover using one method or other that their web site is “banned” by Google. Then, each and every webmaster smokes a few cigarettes, drinks some whiskey and is desperate for answers. On Google.
First of all let’s know what is “ban”? When your website has dropped from Google index and does not show anymore for any keywords.
This situation is applied to your site when it doesn’t suit Google webmaster guidelines. It’s quite frustrating to invest some money into a website (directory submissions, articles, press release, different campaigns, forum sigs, reviews… and all that stuff…) and then to discover that the big G…. “divorced”.
So, what should we do? I remember I had an articles website and I made a mistake with the site map: there was a link on each and every page of the website. Before to be banned Adsense used to produce 70-80 bucks/day and after the “accident” I was making about 10 bucks/day. That’s a $2000 lose/month. Not funny! Right? After a few months and more invested money my website (now) begun to re-born. Here are a few tips:
- Always use reliable hosting service with good uptime (no less than 99.5%) and fast response time. I like dedicated servers.
- Provide unique and relevant content. Fill your website with fresh and unique content that is relevant to your website theme
- Do not Copy+Paste. that’s duplicate content. I have a question here… I do know that duplicate content isn’t good but how do all article directories manage their duplicate content?
- No black hat SEO.
- Try to get links from relevant or close theme websites.
- SEO friendly URLs.
- Avoid using domains with bad history.
- Hope.
